The visible door finish gets the attention, but the carcass — the box behind it — decides how long your cabinets last, especially in humid Singapore kitchens.
Solid plywood
Our standard. Strong, screw-holding and the most moisture-resistant of the three — ideal for kitchens and around sinks.
MDF
Smooth and stable for painted or laminated doors, but heavier and less moisture-tolerant than plywood. Fine for dry areas.
Particle board
The cheapest option, but it swells if water gets in. We avoid it for kitchen carcasses.
We build with thicker solid plywood as standard and back it with a 2-year warranty. Ask us about your project.
